Booke AI alternatives for QuickBooks Online reconciliation
Booke AI categorizes bank-feed transactions in QuickBooks Online. Firms look for an alternative for three usual reasons: the price per business, wanting the statement itself checked, or wanting something for the whole client list. Here are the options, with prices read on each vendor's site.
The short answer
If you want each client's statements checked against QuickBooks Online and a list of the statements still missing, for every client at one price, try Nexora Recon ($19 per client company per month, every QuickBooks Online plan). If you want a whole close platform, try Double. If you mainly need clients to answer "what was this?", Uncat. If you want receipts and documents captured, Dext. If you'd rather outsource the bookkeeping, Botkeeper.

Why firms look for an alternative
Price per business. At Booke AI's published Business price, 40 clients cost $5,160 a month. Booke AI's firm plan is priced on request, so ask them; but if you need a published per-client price, Nexora Recon is $760 a month for 40 companies and Double starts at $400.
The feed isn't the statement. Categorizing the bank feed doesn't tell you whether the books match the bank. A dropped feed, a duplicate import or a deleted entry only shows up against the statement. Nexora Recon compares every statement line with QuickBooks and lists the differences.
Missing statements. Before any reconciliation, someone has to know which statements haven't arrived. Nexora Recon lists them per account and month across all clients, and can email the client for exactly those, in the firm's name, if an admin turns that on.
Using Booke AI and Nexora Recon together
They don't overlap much: Booke AI keeps the feed categorized during the month; Nexora Recon checks the month against the statement and hands you the missing entries to approve. Some firms will want both. See Nexora Recon vs Booke AI for the detailed comparison.
